ART Design Build was delighted yet again to be the belle of the ball at the 2011 Contractor of the Year awards banquet held on January 29 at the W Hotel in Alexandria. Walking away with seven awards confirms that ART Design Build is a SUPERbuilder and the go-to contractor in the Bethesda and DC metro area.  Award winning design and execution is the standard at ART Design.

Good thing we are expert builders, as we will need to add an addition to the office just to accommodate them all!

….we climbed onto the stage so many times last night at the NARI awards banquet.

At the gorgeous and huge new Bethesda Marriott Conference Center, in front of all of our peers, we won four Grand Awards and one Merit Award. In spite of the snowstorm, the room was full, the food was great and everyone looked wonderful in black tie and evening dress.  Although we have been a fixture in the remodeling community for 16 years, we are new to NARI and as newcomers we were given a warm welcome.  I will say that long time NARI members approached our table throughout the night to put a face on a well known name.

We just got  the heads up from NARI Metro DC – we’ve placed in five of the CotY (Contractor of the Year) award categories that we had entered. This is huge as this is our first year as NARI members and this contest has a reputation of being the toughest judged one around. Now NARI doesn’t let it’s winners know where they placed (Grand, Merit or Finalist) within a specific category, we just have to wait for the awards banquet in January!

Wow, five awards from Qualified Remodeler Magazine in their Master Design Awards contest. A big night for us. A special thanks to the designers, project managers and clients of all these wonderful works of ART.
